Antique 19th Century wood dining room table with a triple swan or possibly a fantastical phoenix bird base. This table showcases a round top supported by an impressively carved pedestal featuring a trio of figural long-neck birds with extended wings. There is no apparent maker's mark. A Baden-Baden castle family crest label and other auction tags are affixed to the base and underside. Provenance: This item originated from a distinguished auction event hosted by Sotheby's in October 1995, designated as LOT 2607 at the Neues Schloss (New Castle), Baden-Baden, Germany. It was part of the royal collection belonging to Margrave Max von Baden (1933-2022), a prominent figure in European aristocracy and the first cousin of Prince Charles III. This auction showcased a selection of valuable items from his esteemed collection.

Dimensions: 30 X 49.75 X 49.75 in.

Condition: Fair to poor overall antique condition, showing moderate surface wear. It has a significant split across the top, with other cracks and areas of losses. Loose elements and missing pieces of wood around the feet. This lot needs TLC, please bid accordingly. Estate fresh to the market.
